Foster a bulldog

Foster families are the heart of Bulldog Rescue. When a dog comes into rescue they need to be place in a “foster” home where they will be evaluated and receive medical treatment. This is also where they will receive love, care and attention. All medical expenses are covered by the rescue while the dog is in foster care. The only expense we ask the foster family to cover is the dog food- our preferred brand is Diamond Naturals Chicken and Rice. We also provide new foster homes with a crate and each dog will receive a crate pad, collar/leash, toy, bowls, etc.

As part of the Foster Home application process Bulldog Rescue Volunteers will conduct a phone interview with you, check references and visit your home for an on-site home check visit before placing a Rescue Bulldog in your home for fostering. When you are selected as a Foster home you will need to fill out and sign the Foster Agreement and the Volunteer Hold Harmless and Confidentiality Agreement for the Bulldog.
